Chicken kontosouvli from Greek farms, made from marinated chicken thigh fillets with spices and peppers.
Ideal for grilling on the barbecue, in a non-stick grill pan, or oven-roasted with mustard and honey.
Marinate the chicken for at least 1 hour or ideally overnight for juicy, aromatic results.
Brush skewers with marinadeoil during grilling for extra flavor and to prevent drying.
Avoid overcooking, as breast dries easily.
Cover with foil 6-7 minutes after grilling to lock in juices.
Perfect paired with chilled white wine!
Marinate chicken thigh or breast pieces with olive oil, mustard, lemon, yogurt, garlic, paprika, and thyme.
Thread alternately with peppers and onion on metal or wooden skewers.
Grill or bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes, turning frequently until golden and internal temperature reaches 75°C.
Serve with fried potatoes or fluffy pitas and fresh salad.
